Went to a local wildlife refuge yesterday, they have a photo blind that I reserved for the day, up at 4am to get there before the birds, it was not a great day it was windy and the birds were not coming to much into the area where I was because of that. After 2hrs i finally saw an egret one of only 2 I saw within distance, and only 1 heron, after 5 hrs !!! lol
last weekend when I was there I saw 6 egrets and 4 herons in 30 mins but it was also not windy, but I was not in the photo blind so i got 0 pics because they were long gone once I got within shooting range
