to be honest I had never seen one until I went to this preserve last weekend :)

I wish I could have gotten closer but it was on the other side of the river bank about 50 ft away, really makes me want a 800mm lens because even 500 + 1.4TC is not working :(

I've given up on the hunt for longer glass. I had a Bigma and a 600mm telescope for digiscoping. Doesn't matter what you get, you can't sit on the porch and shoot bugs down by the river. You either have to get closer to them, or better yet, get them to come closer to you. I have finally realized that. ;)

lol true I didnt want to try any of that at this place because you have to get special permission just to go into the area and use the blind
