From my backyard.

The Downey that lays waste to my suet (along with the Flickers)

and the BlueJay that begs for peanuts but doesn't like getting his picture taken.

Kenny, you have to pay them scale, no wonder they don't want to pose, Craft services are expected!

Way to go, Kenny.

Thanks Stan. Weather was pretty lousy here today - rain most of the day. I did go out to Barr Lake early but didn't get anything worth showing (saw - wood ducks, spotted sandpiper, goldfinch, common teal)

That Downy is going to get so big on all that suet, he'll soon be a Hairy :) Great shots Kenny.

These are great Kenny....Downys are my favorite woodpeckers, and love the one of the Jay.

I'd prefer he turn into a red-head or red-bellied or some exotic something.... :)

Thanks Scott!

Thanks Sharon. I've got a couple of these that visit quite regularly since I've been keeping the suet rack filled for the last couple of years. Of course the flickers and others enjoy it as well. :)

I just wish I'd gotten a better shot of the guy, I think the focus was on, but he was moving... :)

Enjoy!

Love the blue jay -- one has been around my yard but won't pose.

Thanks. The ones round here are pretty skittish, they grab the peanuts and run....
