@ CalebG. I'm sorry you missed the cutoff. Hopefully you will make the next speed challenge. I love how you crawled on your belly. Those flowers are a great find. I live in Oregon also, where do you find them?

Wow! Thanks all. This was my first potn challenge entry. I really did it just to get my feet wet and better understand how it works. I certainly didn't expect to win.

Thanks jayceg for all the comments I am looking to learn and meaningful and constructive comments from this forum are really helpful for those who are looking to improve skills like I am.

As for the shot. It was taken on the Brooklyn Bridge in fading daylight. The bridge was crazy busy and the only place where I could get a shot of the bridge that wouldn't be cluttered by other camera waving tourists like myself was up... Thus this picture.

Now I have to review previous topics and see what hasn't been done. :)

jayceg, they are pretty common in open woodland, but you will only be able to see them in march and april, after the bloom is gone the tiny leaf is almost impossible to pick out of the forest floor. that pic was taken at my dads place in creswell. funny I just noticed you lived in eugene, I am in cottage grove.

Jlatimer, congrats.
cheers all I look foward to more competitions and learning..
