Hi everyone,

I'm starting a Finance blog and I'm trying to figure out an appropriate background for the self portrait. As for clothing I will be wearing, it will probably just a shirt and tie or a dark polo, I'm not sure yet, I'm somewhat limited at the moment. I'm not sure if an outdoor (and out of focus) background would be appropriate, or a white wall, or a colored wall (all OOF). Thanks.

Since it's a finance blog, my first thought came out a pie chart as background.

Could do anything, it probably doesn't matter much to the blog users. Nobody's going to say how bad a portrait it is or how good it is, being a finance blog. Go with what you think is tasteful

Depends a lot on the theme and the colors of the blog, from a design perspective

show it to us :>

I do agree with Karl about the preferences of the readers. If I'd shoot for that blog, I would probably want a background color similar to the one from the blog.

Makes sense. I know my finances are in the crapper.
