I've read the sticky, fear not :p But I'm a tad confused...

Yesterday I went to the Home of Rest for Horses, it's a horse sanctuary/charity near where I live and they hold over 100 retired, rescued, previously abused and elderly equines (most coming from the Army/Police). Last year they took in a large amount of horses from a highly prominent rescue case (dealer had 100 odd starving and ill horses on his yard, and 30 corpses of horses he'd just left to die) and they spent near enough £150,000 on getting the horses they took back to health. They also do research into prominent equine diseases and look to educate as many people as they can on horse care etc. Anyway, I digress.

I took some photos whilst I was there (I love going, but heh, I loved wandering in the sun shooting the horses too) and I was wondering; if perchance anyone ever wanted to buy a print or copy of these pictures, would I need to contact anyone? Not talking advertising here, just setting up a website like SmugMug or something and putting all my worthy shots on there (not just these ones). There are no humans in any of the shots, and most of them are close ups, but some are full head shots so I'm not sure where I stand on it?

Also, what if I donated, say, 10 or 15% of the profits back to the Home? Would they need telling or could I just... remain anonymous and non-descript for fear of them coming and chasing me with a pitchfork :p

Muddling through with a 350D kit (Formally known as Arsene), 50mm f1.8 and a little bit o' luck.

I don't see any problem with putting them on your site, or even selling them, but why not ask them if they would have a problem with it? Give the PR Director a couple prints & ask the question.
