It was my birthday yesterday, so in an effort to hold onto my childhood, I persuaded my mum to take me to Speen, the Home of Rest for Horses, my local horse sanctuary (mainly older, retired horses, ponies and donkeys, but some rescue cases) Ulterior motive was that I wanted to take my camera and get some horse portrait shots!
So, some pictures, my faves of the day... I'll upload more later when I get the chance!

Honest C+C PLEASE! Would love feedback on these few shots :)

Muddling through with a 350D kit (Formally known as Arsene), 50mm f1.8 and a little bit o' luck.

In the first shot, I'd crop out that feed bucket so you focus on the horse. The eye is a good shot but a little dark, fill flash might help. #3 is good but a tad hot on the face. 4 and 5 are the best shots to me. The pony looks wistful. Good shots overall, but you asked for C&C. Keep shooting, you are doing well!
