I dont know if this is the right place for this, but I am the best man in my brothers wedding(July, 10th). As a part of my duties, I am to organize the bachelor party. This party is going to be a tasteful event for the men of both families. Im going to be printing from Mpix more than likely and I want some feedback on how this works. I was trying for a very simple design.

Please give me some suggestions on how to make it better.

I would create more contrast between the text and background (i.e. lighten the background). Perhaps a less scripted type of text as well.

When I look at this invitation I'm expecting to dress up for a nice dinner, not go camping and floating on a raft down the river.

This seems to have a little more "bachelor party" feel to it.

I don't know if there's rules to this or not but isn't the point of a bachelor party to not spend time with the women? Why is she in the picture instead of some more "friendly" picture of the groom? The picture seams like it belongs on the wedding invitation, nice picture none the less.

Im probably going to drop the invitation idea. I might just facebook all of the friends and family. Too much hassle.

You can always post a version of the photo and invitation on your (facebook) wall. At least you eliminate the hassle of printing and mailing.
