Hey,

Anyone with a push-pull zoom...has anyone's ever become a little more..tactile than it should. I've just received a stunningly perfect Zeiss 28-85, and would like to free it up.

It's fine as is, but just would like a little more play.

L

Anyone? It sticks (out) at 28mm, and when I want to zoom (in position), it will loosen up and I end up camera-ing myself in the eye!! Ouch!

I never liked and would not have a push-pull zoom.

My 100-400 suffered a zoom lock "clutch" failure which made the push/pull a tad stiff.

Had it replaced and it was once again smoooooth...

Yeah, really great input Senator. Thanks.

Just live with it maybe? I'd be far happier with a one-touch zoom if it wouldn't stick so !
Fantastic colour rendition though! Wow. Zeiss ftw
