Well, it's now pretty clear I won't be able to attend the soiree. In the last couple days, I've been presented with conflicts on both Saturday and Sunday, both of which require driving in the wrong direction.

Whoever said retirees can do whatever they want?

That blows, I was really looking forward to seeing Lois;)

Hey, maybe Lois can still come without him! That's be OK!

I doubt it, those two are like peas and carrots.

6 days and counting.

I have my shopping list for the Macaroni Salad.
Going to wait until last minute so that everything is as fresh as possible. ;)

If you're anything like me, that's not the real reason you're waiting until the last minute. :p

I'm still working on that. I've not yet acquired the rank of PRO crastinator. I would rank more of a minor crastinator.

(sorry, I couldn't resist) nyuk nyuk nyuk

Well, if I get the stuff on Thursday morning and make it Thursday evening, then all is good since we are leaving Friday morning.

If I wait until Friday to make it, and delay my departure time, then I fall into the procrastinator category.

I will be baking the cookies while you are preparing your salad! :)

Any requests on types of cookies?

Well, I must also announce that I won't be coming...although Skip will be there. My grandson's mother has a mandatory certification class at the hospital both Saturday and Sunday so I will stay home to take care of the boys.

Sorry about that folks but she is a single mom and needs my help more than you guys need me at the BBQ.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.
