May 28, 2009 10:42 | #21 Talked to the representative. He said that "recertified" means that a canon representative use the camera during a trade show. He said they are in great condition and it has a one year warranty. I'm going to get that along with http://www.adorama.com …P.html?searchinfo=imxw2up

Good old eBay has removed the Neg feed back option, so now (it is best) to look at the pos feed back to see if anyone has written anything neg in their statement. Why eBay removed the neg is just DUMB, that dose nothing for the buyer, the buyer has no way on letting others now if things fell apart on the deal, well unless they give them POS then write about the problems that should have been NEG feedback. Just Stupid on eBays part. yo, you got it completely wrong.

Sorry but what I have read here and seen (by buying a referb/"recertified") from the same place, most of that is Bull. I bought a "recertified" 30D, BUT the box says right on it "refurbished". HyperYagami wrote in post #8004508 yo, you got it completely wrong. it's the *seller* can't do neg feedback, not buyer. it sucks for the *seller*, because buyers can neg feedback all they want, but can't "counter". HyperYagami... I have bought and sold and I swear I have seen no difference of what you speak, only what I posted above... I guess I could have wrong. Canon 50D, Canon 28-135

May 28, 2009 11:21 | #25 That's fine if it's refurbished. That's why I bought the 2 year (3 years in total) warranty just in case it poops out on me. Thanks regardless Steve.

Well that is one thing I wanted you to check... 1 year warranty is bull, it is only 90 days for referb/recertified. 1 year warranty is for New. Canon 50D, Canon 28-135

May 28, 2009 11:30 | #27 Hah. That's the cold hearted fact when it comes to buying stuff. You never know when your getting mislead. Hah. I didn't buy from the guy on the phone, I called and then ordered online once I checked everything out.

It looks like you are not the ebay seller, as I had incorrectly assumed after the reseller rating post above. Here's the thing -- these posts were fresh on my mind (all are scams):
...and those are just in the last 1.5 months. It appears you went for a reliable seller at Adorama and got a great deal, and I'm sorry I made an incorrect assumption before being able to help steer you in the right direction. Welcome to the forum ![]() "Dream it. Plan it. Do it."

Oh and "yo" right back at you, I didn't know that word was still being used. http://pages.ebay.com/help/feedback/howitworks.html
