Thinking of selling my 300 2.8 IS

What is the going rate for a used one in perfect, like new condition?

I don't use it enough to justify keeping it.

You're looking at around $3200-3400 depends on age and condition of course. Used price for this lens has gone down a little since last year.

ok, thanks. It is less than 2 yrs old and in perfect condition. I bought it new so no one had it before I did.

I've seen real nice ones in the $3500-$3800 range depending on how new it is.

Just checked FM and a 9 month old one sold for $3475 so I guess the price has dropped somewhat.

Don't let these guys fool you. The going rate is around a hundred bucks. Send me your PayPal address and I'll send you the money right away!
