I like the construction, size, and perforamce of the Mac but will not buy Mac, because my other computers, desktop, kids, wife, etc are all PC's.

Does anyone know of a simular unit in a PC. (around 13")
I want to carry it in my camera backpack for field trips and travel.

Since I will be running Photoshop on it and shooting RAW, I want a large HD, good screen, etc
Thanks

Glenn

Dell m1330. Same specs as a 17" macbook pro, 7 hours of battery life with LED screen, and user replaceable battery (and you can carry more than one so you can get a whole day's worth of use). Very small, HDD up to 500gb, and decent screen (though no computer that size will have a great screen)

And for your information, a mac is a pc. It runs OSX, but it's a pc. That is why you can run windows and linux on a mac and not have problems.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.
