I took this picture and loved the flower, but didn't know what it was. I am such a lousy gardener. I take better pictures, I think.

It's fushia, there are hundreds of varieties so I don't know which one. Nice shot.

Beautiful shot -

There are several varieties of fuchsia (fuCshia) with very similar flowers. From what I can see of the leaf pattern, I would guess it is a magellanica gracilis.

The Swedish Botanical Society has a website that might help <http://www2.dicom.se …as/thumbsspecie​s.html> (external link); Their pictures are nowhere near as nice.

down south it grows wild on the hedges
