It looks like a scam. For one there isn't a picture of the front of the body, and it look alot like the original 5D

What I can see from the bottom of the camera...

Canon D5126D91
S#? 1731201421 (not sure on that last "1")

Maybe someone can tell from the numbers above? Not that it really matters, just wondering... I see someone put out $2137.00 for it.

It's already been pointed out that the camera in the three closeups is not a 5DII. The button layout is not the same. The hot shoe is painted black but on the 5DII it is stainless and the stickers on the bottom are different shapes.

I sure hope my bid wins for $2137. That would be GREAT!!! Fingers crossed.

i've got the auction bookmarked and I'm going to check out the seller's feedback from time to time. If it goes up in a +1 positive then I'd surprised and impressed at what a bargain the buyer managed to get. If it goes down.. well, you've gotta feel bad for 'em. (and at the same time, not, for lack of basic eBay discretion)

it's interesting... if you click on the link to the listing and attempt to view it, you'll find a placeholder error page.. something that you often see after an auction has been proven to be bogus. The auction ended some three weeks ago, and eBay auctions have a 90 day life after bidding comes to an end. I guess we were all correct in our observations... poor sucker that shelled out their money to that transparent crook.

jeez chill people. don't you see "We accept return for this camera...!!!"?

 buy with confidence.

hahahaha, so because it says "we accept returns" obviously means the seller is anything BUT a scammer! :):):)

I wouldn't purchase this camera based upon the fact that it says that..

But the item has been removed now, so i guess it wasn't too safe.
