I came across deal on this lens, it is UR date code, so 2003 lens. Seller is asking for $830. Is this a good deal? In general, how good is the 16-35L version I. How is it compare to 24-105L and 24-70L.
BTW, I am using this on 5D

BTW, I am using this on 5D It is a great lens and comparable to the other L's you have mentioned. I have the version II and my friend has a version I. Very similar performance according to our tests at various apertures and focal lengths. jessewebbphotography.com
