Spent vacation last Sept. in Sandbridge, VA. It's just south of Virginia Beach. I'm just getting around to processing some of them (sadly enough). One of the interesting things about this place is that they have all of these fiberglass dolphins all over, in yards, in front of businesses, etc. All decorated differently; mostly mosaic glass but a lot painted as well. I spent a lot of time running around taking pics of these dolphins, and now I've got a bunch of images I'd like to make into a collage. Anyway, here are a few pics of mostly other things. Sky's were very overcast while we were there, unfortunately.

6. And finally a dolphin head for your viewing pleasure

Thanks for looking!

Remove the frames/captions please - they scream amature. The shot under the bridge might be nice in B&W, maybe try that? Besides that these all look like very standard photos out of a textbook on photographic composition. Very good examples of line, colour etc. but that's all they are - examples. They don't seem to have much else too them. It's awesome that you're rockin' with composition but try to apply it a little more creatively from now on.

That was pretty harsh.
The OP didn't ask for any C&C, Agnu.
I liked all of the photos for what they are. Well done.

The USCG Station and the Sea Kyaks are great. Looks like a nice place to spend some time.

Ok, removed frames from original pics. I'm a big girl, can handle criticism. And obviously I am still an amateur, so I appreciate both positive and negative comments. I just started posting my own photos after having spent a good few years reading here, shooting and not being happy about the results. However, I realize that I have to start sharing to take things up a notch. I will never be a professional; my day job is something I worked long and hard for. However, I enjoy photography and am looking to improve. Having said that, I was intending to use the pier shot as a B&W for a friend, here is a quick conversion.

I really liked the frames and the captions. I felt like I was on vacation.
