haha, i'll be honest, my selective focus efforts aren't much more than guesses with this lens.

I nailed one of my much younger photography boss this weekend. Will post it up in a couple of days.

Nice house shot! You've carved a very nice niche with your skill set.

Does anyone use this lens for landscape/scenic photography, and if so, do you miss not being able to use filters such as a CPL, and/or GND filters with/on it?

Thanks in advance.

Photographers do it in 1/1,000th of a second...but the memory lasts forever! ;)

You can't use filters with this lens unless you make a DIY holder. If you read through the post, someone had actually made one for this lens but, never posted images using the holder. What's up with that?:lol:

Yeah really, what IS up with that?

Thanks again, Julian.

Wondering how many photogs missed a great shot because they COULDN'T use a filter?

Good point! It's not like this lens is built for quick grabs. :)

Here's my lead photographer:

Thanks for the link and info aratj.

Do you get much or any vignetting with the Cokin XPro filter holder on the 17mm TS-E?

Thank you for this information, Aratj...very useful.
I really like your setup. I haven't seen that "cube" before, but like many others I use the Manfrotto 410 Junior geared head...heavy but very positive, and it never lets go!

Growing old disgracefully!

^^ I read all the work you put into that shot, Mike.

Really nice finished result! ;)

Cheers!
