Cool thing that you put all that effort into building the ultimate Holder...
While I'm having fun with 7mm shift + full tilt, not to mention all these yummy ND-grads and Big Stopper!:p

Just a little laugh, no offense, don't get me wrong Julian.;)

Love it! It's the first real toy town shot I've seen with a toose-17. nice work!

Man, I saved up after tax season and have budgeted for one lens this year: TS-E 17, TS-E 24, or the Nikon 14-24 with Canon EF converter.

After seeing this thread, I think I am leaning towards the TS-E 17mm. The thing that I am worrying about is filters, same with the 14-24.

I'm in the process of making a filter holder for the 17 but, also own the 14-24 too. If you really want a filter holder for Nikon, Lee has the SW150 in production. :)

Julian, I hope you are taking photos as you build it bud! I'd really like to see what's involved. Do you think 130mm filters will be large enough? Or will it need the new Lee 150mm filters?

I am. ;) You will be able to use your standard foundation kit and all your lovely 4x6 filters. You will have limited movement in shift but, I'm ok with that. Once it's completed, I'll post my results. :)

Julian, what do you think would be needed to fit the Lee SWF 150 holder to a TS-e 17mm?

The Lee SW 150 filter holder is huge. It would require a larger adapter ring to accomodate the 17. Since my filter holder isn't complete yet. I'll try to see what can work with the OEM lens cap. :) I'll post that info. later today.

I'm wondering how to fit a polariser....I've seen some A4 adhesive Polariser sheets recently and I'm wondering if these would be a high enough quality to use over a clear Lee resin filter. I'm not after ND grads, just ND filters. So i'm hoping to get a 3 and 5 stop ND and a clear filter to fit this Polariser sheet over. It's available with either a clear adhesive or not. I have some clear pressure adhesive film that I use for my rear mounted perspex prints (which look fab)...I just need to know what size fiter sysyem works best with the tilt, swing and shift mechanisms.
