^Good stuff. Exposure blending?

Thanks Kevin. No exposure blending. It's a single exposure. :)

How did you get the ocean to look so cottony? Seems like it was still bright enough out to preclude a long shutter speed.

I had a friend do the metal work for me and he's real good. :)

In this image,I've already took the half part of the inner cap and planed it down with a metal file. Trying to plane it flat is where most of the work is. You want it to be level with the bottom part of the cap. (Bottom left)

Damn, I knew I missed something.

I am still waiting for the 82 WA adapter, so I had just taken apart the lens cap and put it back together. Did not realize I had to file it down.

I wonder if I can do it with a belt sander and really fine grain sand paper to get it flat.

I just used a metal hand file to smoothen it out. :)

I used a Dremel cutter and sander and it did a brilliant job. This is the easiest alternative filter holder that I chose to do. The only problem was that I lost the spring when I disassembled the lens cap and had to buy another one (cap that is) :(
