Cool shot mate!

Thanks man, appreciate it. Trying out some different processing styles lately...

Yes, the processing makes it a really good shot rather than a boring shot of a tree and a road.

I really love the texture you were able to pull out of the clouds ddk632.

God damm it, this site will be the death of my bank account, I just pulled the trigger on one of these babies...

I was toying with the idea of a TS-Lens for quite some tome now, but all other options were not satisfying... the 24 II is a lot cheaper, but as the main uses for me would be architectual and interior I need all the wide angle I can get, especially as I am still shooting crop at the moment (perhaps someday I will get a FF body, but they are so damn expensive - oh wait, I just spent 2k € on a Lens instead...).
And in my heart I know that, if I had ordered the 24, I would probably not be as satisfied with it. And my credo of "go big or go home" has served me quite well so far, lens-wise.

The good thing is that I now have a delivery to look forward to, it is almost as if Christmas is early this year

I hope that soon I can post some awesome pic here as well.

Cheers, Kevin ;)

Wow, so far this lens is a lot of fun to use, I love the creative possibilities.
Unfortunately I did not have a lot of time to play with it outside, but the next holidays are coming...

Here is one I took last Saturday of the beautiful sunrise in my Hometown... slightly shifted upwards and two exposures blended together. Unfortunately I did not have much time to take the shot, as I was on my way to Uni.

IMAGE: http://up.picr.de/19874911zf.jpg

I will have to try some Panoramas with this thing... any tips on how to best deal with the errors in the panoram that you might get when not using one of those special "back-shift-adapters"?

Cheers, Kevin ;)
