Ok finally got out today with my new lens. Still not fully up to speed with it. Adding to my problems was the fact that I was handholding filters as I dont have a 82mm Lee adapter yet.

Im definately having trouble with focus. Presetting the focus using the DOF scale on the lens isnt working as well as I had hoped. I need to get more practice until I feel confident with it.

Heres my first pic. 3 Shots stitched. Portrait camera / Horizontal shifts.

Looks good to me Eddie. Solid shot. I feel your pain with the filters. I luckily snatched one off BH's site about 2 days before I went on my trip. They seem tougher to get than the 77mm. Keep'em coming man!

Until today I thought that live view displayed in whatever aperture you had set I.e you didn't need to push the DOF preview button but it doesn't. If I set to f/11 the mountain in the distance looked oof on live view until I pressed preview. Just don't think I nailed the focus right.
