Awesome as ever, Jordan. Incredible colors.

Something a bit more mundane here.

At the risk of being redundant...

This was done using three tripod mounted shots spaced a few seconds apart so all the people were in different positions. I just layered the shots and masked them out.

Stopped by State Farm today. Their Personal Articles Policy will cost me $1.50 per $100. Or $180/yr for $12k coverage with no deductible. That's easily doable.

The SF agent called me this morning and threw a wet blanket on the deal. He thinks SF may not want to give me just this policy because the risk isn't worth the possible cost to them. I pay $180/yr and they could end up forking over $2k if I drop my camera. I sort of see their point, but insurance isn't a one-for-one deal. You make money by insuring lots of people and things and hope your clients don't all make claims. He said he'd talk to the underwriters about it. We'll see if he gets back to me.

Well Mark, you can probably blame me for their reluctance to cover you haha. The second shot you posted is nice. Very glassy.

Thanks, Jordan. It's a hard building to shoot because some of the architecture immediately around it is god-awful crap that looks like the worst Soviet-era stuff.

The agent called back and said they'd cover me, so now I just need to get all my gear listed.

Nice, when you get everything set ask them for a copy of your papers with the gear with the value and double check it. They had my 5dii listed for 400 dollars by accident. If anything goes wrong its one less thing to cause issues when dealing with claims.

This is a fantastic image! :)

I wish I knew how to have gorgeous super-cool gigantic bubbles in my photos like this. And I thought "Under the Dome" was just a fictional TV series... ;)

Its not always the insurance companies, but the agents, if they have claims, they get penalized.

Try a couple different SF agents.

a TS_E used in the desert. Have you noticed the infiltration of sand in the sensor or something else?
