Two shots taken this morning during sunrise. Towards the sun the colours were very warm but when I faced away from the sun there was a lovely pink colour in the sky. Both shots are 3 shifted and tilted shots stitched to form a 40MP vertorama.

These are really cool Eddie, I love the complete different sky colors from both pictures. I guess you used ND grads here or did you darken the sky in post processing?

Thanks mate, I used the Lee CPL and a Lee 3 stop hard gnd and a Lee 3 stop soft gnd for both shots. The uppermost part of both sky's is so dark due to vignetting at maximum shift. In hindsight the shot looking away from the sun probably only needed one gnd to bring the foreground out

^^^Superb shots as always Eddie, lovely colours.

I was doing the same thing yesterday morning too. Early start for a bike ride with the camera gear, but I didn't give myself enough time unfortunately, I'm sure theres some better shots to be had at this location, so will have to revisit...

A couple of stitched shots and all using various GND filters stacked, that I fail to remember.

Hey guys, I worked on this one last night and got a little crazy with the processing. This is an image from Lower Antelope that I duplicated and flipped to create an abstract. Not sure if I should even post it here since it's modified ; )

now that is interesting........

nice work

maybe try blending this image with the original to see what you get, might be special

Thank you David. It was so foggy and gray down in the valley that we figured catching some sun above would not be too bad an idea :D
