Agreed, Nicely done Kenny. Every spring I say to myself I need to get a pic of those types of tree when the colour comes and every year I leave it too late when the colour fades and falls off leaving green leaves. Ive got no excuse as there is one in the park outside my house! but still no pic :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one. My laziness makes me miss all the good stuff: autumn is a big example.

This one is at 48mm, four frames. LOADS of photoshop, color tweaking... UGH.

Eriet30, this post https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=16888976&postcount=12 is in response to a link I posted in the thread after someone mentioned that the 24 is not suitable for the miniature look.

Is the effect in your shots due to some post processing effect?

using the 1.4 on this i think. I have some where i stacked the 2x and the 1.4 but started to get some odd halos. The 2x works well alone i just didnt have it with me that day. Reason i got the 24 is because it can cover so much range with add ons like the tc's. Otherwise I would have had to divorce the wife and buy the 17, 24 and 90. I am learning to love this lens.

The 24mm is very much suitable for the miniature effect, but it requires a more careful positioning than longer lenses.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm planning to obtain a T/S and I'm leaning toward the 24.

Some have questioned if the lake is still 100% pure or if it needs draining.. :-)

I love the wide of the 17 but not the bubble and then it is harder to do the effect. I didnt go for the 45 and 90 because I read some others using the TCs

Did anyone have the Version 1 to this lens prior to getting the II? if so, was it a dramatic difference?
