I did take few shots using my 24mm and using one time with only LEE square CPL and another time with LEE square CPL and Hitech 0.6 GND, i pointed to the sky with some on the foreground or on the earth, should i post that as example to see what is the issue exactly?

I did shoot a blue sky, it is morning here and we have sun shine, i did shoot the sky just opposite the sun direction, also, i noticed that about rotation, so what i did is i placed the GND and rotated it 90 degrees, then i placed the CPL and rotated whole back to 90 degree, so allowed the CPL to have that effect at least, in all cases, i must accept this issue or get a way to use it than i spend another fortune to buy 105mm CPL and 105mm ring adapter.

Picked up the Lee Foundation Kit, Wide Angle Adapter and some glass/resin primarily for this lens.

Pretty disappointed to discover, over the course of a few mornings, that the Lee Square CPL is giving me lots of banded sky and doesn't seem a workable solution with a GND at all.

Looks like the 105mm adapter/CPL is the way to go. Grrr. Now selling one 4x4 Lee CPL, might investigate returning it, but P&P back to NYC (from Australia) might set that back.

*Is there a cheaper alternative to the Lee 105mm 'adapter ring' and CPL that will fit in the front of a Lee Foundation Kit?

coogee, ive been using a square Lee CPL and GNDs for a couple of years and not had an issue, especially with the 24 TSE. I had slight banding once on my 17-40 but I think it was just the conditions. Hope it works out for you as the Lee CPL 4x4 is a great bit of kit

Nice work Kenny. I'm really wanting to grab the 2x converter. Maybe after wedding season when I have some spending money ; ) I took this one year ago yesterday. Can't believe it's been that long.

Here is a shot i took long time ago, using my 1DX and TS24, and i was using 3 filters at once, 3rd party GND, LEE 0.6 ND glass [4x4] and LEE square CPL, the result was amazing and i was so happy, but i will be happier when i travel to US where the landscape i want to photograph

Wow, great composition on the second shot there. You said you;d like to get back down to the beach, but to be honest, the abstraction that comes with long exposure really works well with the cliffs shots.

G'morning guys..

I just received my canon ts-e 24mm lens. After playing for couple of hours, I think I need your help to clear my frustration :)
Here is my camera setup: AV mode, evaluate metering (flexi zone), live view, and the lens is on zero position (no tilt nor shift). My question is, on ordinary lenses when we move the metering to brighter area such as sky, the shutter speed will increase automatically...and vice versa.
But, on my ts-e 24mm lens the shutter speed is still and won't change. Is it normal?

Thank you so much

PS: sorry for my bad English...
