A couple from a recent short stay in Keswick. Both with just a touch of shift and a GND filter or two....

Thanks, I was quite pleased with the result. I revisited the location in April this year (Shiraz in Iran) and wanted this shot along with several others using the 24mm TS/E. When I arrived I was horrified at the mess but, since it may be many years until I return, I took the shot anyway knowing I would need to do a lot of work to get something out of it. Here's the original image before I started work on it:

Amazing, so imagine when they clean all that mess how it will show.

Good job of what you did, i always take photos of whatever i can when i travel, mess or not it is out of control or hand, so we just take photos and pass, then we work on our photos later until we can re-visit same place again if possible with better luck.

But i have a question, as long you did shoot this one with 24TS-E, how come in your original shot the lines are not straight? It is like you didn't use TS lens.

Thanks and re the lines not being straight: quite correct, I had minimal time to get the shot as there was a bus load of tourists behind me who would have ruined everything, hence I quickly got this and hurried to take others inside before they all got in the way :)

That's it, when in hurry we can't do things properly, i remembered once in NZ i was with tourists, visited a location where there is a beautiful waterfall, they gave us about 15-20 minutes, to reach that waterfall you need about 10 minutes, so i couldn't take nice shots in short minutes as it was my first time ever.

Anyway, you did a great job with workflow, your have the original shot so you can always edit and manipulate to the best.

I can't wait to travel carrying my 24TS, and soon i will buy 17TS as well, i feel those 2 lenses will be my most used lenses on my A7r.

Well, sometimes i feel or see myself as a bad low photographer seeing many very very high quality photos [quality as art not as resolution], even i have a medium format and top line of Canon fear, so then Photoshop is what made me down, i amy be a good photographer but not a good photoshopper.

Well I sold my 24 TS-E II on Saturday. Sad day. I sold it to another member here drchrisdvm2009, so I hope some pictures from it will still make their way to the board every so often.

I realized that I take about 10 days of real vacations to TSE-worthy locations a year, not much. On the other hand, I take family photos and portraits if my son and his toddler friends every week almost, but I don't have any autofocus lenses and these toddlers are getting mighy fast to focus and compose with a manual WA lens.....or even my zeiss 50 makro at that.

So I faced the facts and sold the TSE so I can buy a 135L and a sigma 50 art. I will absolutely continue to rent out a 24 TSE for all my landscape photography trips anyways, so no big loss.

Here's one if my old faves

From his post to me it sounds it was with all mess and constructions, so he said he "would need to do a lot of work to get something out of it".

Sorry for my English, i really don't know where i was focusing on, i saw a lot of my errors typing, so i apologize for that, and what i was meaning is that sometimes Photoshop change a photo from simple normal to a masterpiece artwork, so maybe that is why i feel myself not a good photographer because i see many others photos as masterpiece top quality, mostly because of Photoshop, and i feel if i can master Photoshop then my good nice photos will be in another level/league.

I saw your ad and was like, "What? Not Nate!" Almost as shocking as it would be to see Jordan selling his. But I understand your reasoning. AF is a blessing when it comes to kids. I love my 135L. The 135L and the 85 1.8 are my primary event lenses. Fast and always sharp as a tack.

And I will not buy this lens or any TS manual lens if i don't have any or many enough AF lenses for portraits or kids and such, i bought this TS just beginning of this year, so after 8 years i decided to go with T/S lens.

I feel the same way about not being as good at Photoshop. But I enjoy taking pictures and going to great places at great times to do it. I don't really enjoy sitting in front of my computer! I just do this for fun of course.

So I feel that, well, so what! If one day I feel inspired with Photoshop, I still have all the raw files available to use. In the meantime, it's inspiring to see what great work can be realised with PS (wow at the shot with removed building work).

Don't be disheartened Tareq, I enjoy your pictures already, you can Photoshop the bejesus out of them some future day! While you wait, computers and screens and Photoshop all improve at a rapid rate to help.

Don't worry, i don't give up photography, what i feel didn't or doesn't stop me from taking pictures, in fact because i am not good skilled enough in Photoshop then i do my best at shooting first place so i can get the best SOOC, sooner or later i will travel this year i hope so do landscapes, and i am ready for it this time.
