Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II

Thanks, I was quite pleased with the result. I revisited the location in April this year (Shiraz in Iran) and wanted this shot along with several others using the 24mm TS/E. When I arrived I was horrified at the mess but, since it may be many years until I return, I took the shot anyway knowing I would need to do a lot of work to get something out of it. Here's the original image before I started work on it:

Great what you did out of it. But i would brush out some of the duplicates coming from mirroring

Thanks, yes there's a couple of bits I could do to improve it which I might do later.

With this, I really just wanted to show what could be done with a little bit of time and effort. A lot of photographers (myself included) tend to look at an unprocessed shot and too often click on delete without taking a moment to consider what could be achieved with a little work. If the basics are right (I'm thinking mainly focus and exposure here) something can usually be achieved. What little I know of photoshop I've picked up from doing this, looking at what I've taken, deciding what I want then figuring out how to turn one into the other. This way you learn what you need to know and you don't get bored.

Hey guys. Enjoying all the work posted here. I haven't been able to shoot any landscapes at all for the past few months so this is one I shot last May at Olympic NP. I only got like 2 shots from here since it rained most of the time and we decided to bail and head south.

You definitely got the typical weather it looks like. For may though it could have been a little better. Looks like straight winter.

You couldn't tell from my photos from that trip, which look like they were taken in the summertime, but this is actually from the height of the rainy season there, mid-winter:

Thanks, wet feet indeed. Cranked the heat on our 10 hour drive out of there It certainly felt like winter Nathan. It was cold, wet, and miserable. We only had a tiny teardrop trailer and no power hookups so it was pretty disgusting at camp (think the smell of wet dogs) Hope to get back there one day and shoot some more of those stacks. It would have been nice to see the sun at least once while we were in Washington. Lovely shot BTW.
