Great shot, seeing aurora is on my bucket list. Pity about the tilt being knocked on your other shots

Dave that's an amazing capture! Simply beautifully done - I know how hard it can be to capture those lights but this is bang on. I'm jealous!

Here's one from above London:

Seriously good Kenny!

What he said. Stellar shot, Kenny.

Did they move the battleship to the other side? I thought it was on the ToL side.

Thanks guys. :)

I don't think they moved it but I could be wrong. It's been here since I've lived in the UK, almost five years.

HMS Belfast? She has always been on the south side, right where you see her in Kenny's pic.

Yep, you're right. I have a pic from a different angle with the ToL right behind, so I was thinking she was on the north side. But as I look at my pic now, I see the gangways come from the south side. Funny how you can look at an image so many times and suddenly see it in a different perspective.

Hi guys,

I did a test to my Canon 6D & 60D both in Live View using a Canon TS-E 24mm II.
Setting: AV Priority Mode, Evaluate Metering

On 6D: turn on the Live View Button -> press the Zoom Button and the AF Zone (white rectangle) appears.
When I move the AF Zone using Directional Button, the shutter speed not change -> the same if we set to Center Weight Metering.

On 60D: turn on the Live View Button -> AF Zone automatically appears, no need to press the Zoom Button.
When I move the AF Zone using Directional Button, the shutter speed change.

Does anyone can explain what is the mechanical differences in the 6D & 60D body so the different behaviour happen?

Thank you

I can't think of a particular example at this moment but I know exactly what you mean.
