You must forgive him. He was tempted by the fruit of another and strayed. :p

Wonderful news Eddie, I enjoyed all your TS-E shots before.

Very cool! I'm rejoining the club as well. My new 24 TS-E II will be here tomorrow :)

Looking forward to giving it a workout on my upcoming trip to Ireland.

Thanks lester, used copies seem thin on the ground at the moment. I'm trying to avoid paying for a brand new one for a second time but may have to.

Good news Brandon

Did you tilt, shoot at infinity or at hyperfocal distance? Is tilting always better than focusing at the hyper focal distance? I would think tilting is always better because you can shoot at f8 which is sharper than f16.

Personally I try and stick at f-8 - f/11 and focus at hyperfocal then apply tilt too increase the DOF

I had been looking for a used version for awhile and couldn't locate something decent here in California. It finally came to the point where it was getting too close to my trip, so I bit the bullet and went new. We have a really good resource for new lenses here and I was able to pay only $1889 - which isn't horrible for new.

Congrats! Sounds like you couldn't wait long :) Do you have a Lee Filter system? I need to get one of those myself, but it's going to have to wait a few months.
