I am hoping to get started tonight on the way up to the park...first real outing of the year that isn't smashed into a work trip....

I rented the TSE 24mm again for my trip this weekend to the Smoky Mountains...and I used it ALOT...mostly for shift...but I wanted to learn how to play with the tilt aspect too...wow...fun stuff..you can really create some interesting effects...this one I tilted it all the way opposite angle from the plane of normal focus...3 framed for shift, left, center and right, the exposures each frame for dynamic range...9 total...the PSD file is flippin huge...this ghost town in the park was new to me, and seemed perfect for the surreal effects that tilt can add to an image.

If you're on Flickr, contact: https://www.flickr.com/photos/henk-meijer/ (external link)

He's a stand up dude who's been thinking of getting this lens used for quite some time.

Another one of the many falls along the Lynn Camp Prong. The photo ops were just endless along that trail.

I really wish Flickr would not over sharpen the way it does...I probably ought to figure out how to combat that for images uploaded there.

Your last couple of images with the 24mm look fantastic.
Sharp as a tack. Looks great on my screen.
I hope you get to keep this lens sometime in the future.
You use it well.

Thank you. One day I will own it, but I would need to be using it to pay for itself...and right now...it is just a fetish of sorts...LOL...I used it so much on this last trip, that my index finger and thumb showed signs of wear from adjusting the knobs on the lens all weekend!
