Admittedly I was ~30m from a 20m tall scene... but first time in ages I was unable to stitch without any success at all. I went in shifted rows: 111 222 333 In the end, of course, my normally shot scene stitched without issue: 1 2 3 But it's not what I was after. Hopefully this makes sense? Yes, I've used my standard pano gear with a nodal slide with the TS-E 24. Stitched in Autopano Giga with "rectilinear" mapping. The nice the about that vs. shifted panos, is I can stil shift to correct perspective but still make ultra-wide panos. David | Flickr

I'm not willing to deal with the heft of the gear (nor the cost) that's only required when I'm quite literally pushed into a corner, as I was last night. flickr

I couldn't back up any further so attempted for a better composition with the aforementioned pano but oh well, better than nothing: IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/GHhoiGflickr
