I like this one better over your previous version. The sepia is nice but, b&W comes to mind if you're going mono. :)

Thank you for your input. I just decided to give it a try and use sepia filter in PS. I am not attached to sepia though, just experimenting with B&W.

Picked up this lens on a recent trip to New York from BHPhoto. Awesome lens but still getting used to it.

Tilted to change focus plane

Super agree, those shots are seriously amazing. For the 3 frame image, how did you keep the motion of the water from looking wonky?

Thanks! I've found using live view to be the easiest way to place the focal plane so far.

Thanks guys! The three frame pano was a shot shifted left, centre, and shifted right. Exposure time for each frame was 30 seconds @ f/7.1 so I guess the longer exposure helped smooth out any ripples in the water.

Here's one from Grand Central Terminal. From memory this was at full tilt too...

Both images are excellent. In the first is the plane of focus running along the bridge (what it looks like to me), or cutting through the middle of the image in a vertical line? Kind of hard to make out. Still a great shot. Just curious that is all. Thanks.
