Nature and photography. Moments frozen a fraction of a second at a time.
Canon 1Ds MkIII and lots of other stuff.

Thanks. I would have liked a sharper shot, but I was using a CPL that reduced my shutter speed by two stops.

Beautiful shot. what kind of tripod/head did you use and how do you set up to allow panning fast enough to capture flying bird?

Great timing! There's supposed to be lots of photo ops there - is that true?

Thanks for the kind remarks. Personally I think Parson's shot blows this one away. I was using a Wemberley Head. For fast panning on a tripod, nothing beats it. There are alot of photo ops at this refuge. The birds just ignore the humans. I plan to go back for some sunrise pics.
