First of all, I apologize if this question has been asked. I've been trying to read most of the threads on the new PW's but didn't see anything discussed about this topic.

I've been using eBay remote radio in my home studio shoots; transmitter on camera hotshoe, receiver on 580EX as fill light/main trigger set at Master + manual mode, 430EX as hair light set at Slave + manual mode, AB800 as main light with optical trigger, and another AB800 as background light with optical trigger. I've been pretty happy with this set up. Since I'd like to use ETTL and hypersync features of the new PW's, I bought a set of Mini and Flex, and received it last week.

I have tried using the new PW's same set up as above, and it didn't work. Actually, I just tried the set up without the AB800's. 580EX went off, but 430 didn't. When I tried 580 on Mini in camear hotshoe, and 430 on Flex, the ETTL ratio set up works just fine.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You have a flex for the 580 and a flex for the 430, corect? All being triggered by the Mini on your camera hotshoe? I'm a little confused, with your question, so I'm starting at the beginning.

Actually, I only have one Mini and one Flex. I want to use the new PW set the same set up I use with eBay trigger as I mentioned above (second paragraph).
