Very Common Common Murres

Yaquina Head -- Newport, Oregon

A very large colony of Common Murres are just on the rocks just off the Head. They're fascinating to watch. There are a few cormorants, guillemots and other birds mixed in as well, but as you can see the Murres dominate.
