WOW great shots Rose. Congrats on the Indigo Bunting. I only had the two day sighting and they were gone.

those are just marvelous. And it's wonderful that you get them at a feeder - I only see them scurrying around near hedgerows.

Funny how birds seem to prefer different locations for their snacks.....

Frank...if you are looking for them in the field I found it easier to listen for their distinct song first. They seem to be singing constantly...good luck in your quest!

My brother and I live in the same town..he has indigo buntings and I have yet to see one in my yard. They are so beautiful and your shots are terrific!
