I have an Epson P-4000 that doesn't display the RAW files from my 5D II. The only way to view files form the 5D II is to shoot RAW + jpeg, which really limits the number of images on the CF card. I have the latest firmware on the Epson...is there a work-around that someone knows of, or is it what it is?

Why not use raw converter software from Canon, Adobe or other companies that make them? You can not only view the images but do prelinary corrections and convert them to an apprpriate format for further use such as Tiff, JPG, etc. Since the P 4000 has been discontinued I doubt it will ever support the new raw formats.

The Epson is the back-up device that I use on remote photo shoots...I don't carry a laptop around. As far as the RAW + jpeg goes, the Epson will display a medium jpeg but not a large (gives a "file too big" error).

Note several newer cameras are missing from the list including the 40D and 5DmkII.

From the Epson website:

Note: To ensure that your P-4000 supports all the latest RAW image file formats listed, make sure the latest firmware has been installed. See
