A goose in a tree is worth two in the pond?

Our property borders on a well treed creek that frequently has geese. The other morning on my way out there was a large amount of honking that sounded different than it normally does. It took me a minute, but I finally found the source. This goose was sittin' in a tree! Not sure how he got up there, as geese are not the most graceful flyers in tight places. As I tried to get closer he panicked and fell down into the water, to paddle, the fly away... I waited to see just to make sure he wasn't hurt.

That's a canadian surveyor goose, very rare find. LOL. Nice catch!!! I guess any place to a load off is a good one.

Nice catch. Canada Geese are obviously not the smartest.
