Are there any tricks to cutting down on the glare caused by the flash on glasses. Don't have an off camera setup, and I'm finding often times I need the light directed almost right at the subject.

This will shift the reflection from the glasses away from the camera. "Be seeing you."

windpig Chopped liver More info | Jun 01, 2009 16:20 | #5 I spent 2 full week ends working on this issue. It opened a can of worms, in that glasses create glare, but also shadows from the temples and rims become distractions. I came up with a light set up that seemed to work by placing a shoot through umbrella 90 degrees to the subject in a room that allowed light to bounce around without reflecting off a surface in behind the camera. I'm interested in seeing how effective a CPF is. Would you like to buy a vowel?
