With a lot of the larger retailers putting their prices up, people are taking their business elsewhere. I joined this group and purchased my Pelican 1624 case from LeisurePro saving about $30.

Shipping was fast and the case was packaged very well. Like it could get damaged anyhow

If you are looking for a Pelican case definitely take a look at www.LeisurePro.com (external link)

Cheapest place online for the 1624! B&H was going to price match if I phoned the order in. My time is to valuable to be calling in for a better price.

BTW > The case is awesome as expected!

It was always known that BH isn't about the lowest prices. It is all about customer service, reliability and availability.

When I shopped, I found opticsplanet to be the cheapest for Pelican cases, and there were coupon codes to drive it down even more. Problem was, stock. B&H had them in stock. I needed it for an upcoming shoot. So after three weeks of waiting for my OpticsPlanet order, I canceled. Had it the next day from B&H, at the time it was $40 more through B&H.

Leisure pro is the same company as Adorama. I didn't realize it till I got a set of fins that had Adorama bubble wrap.

Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep that in mind for next SCUBA purchase.

Put in my order for a Pelican 1524 yesterday at LeisurePro... They had the cheapest prices I could find from the recommended places including shipping. Should be here on Friday. I can't wait!

There was a problem on LeisurePro's web site with shipping charges. I got a discount on the case which came out to $305 and change....

For the record, they're a bit cheaper on the price, but when I used the same St Louis zip code and compared the same UPS 3-day shipping, it turns out the difference narrows.

And, as noted, we were willing to match the price even though their resellerratings value is notably lower than ours (external link). Finally, your "time is to valuable to be calling in for a better price," but you had plenty of time to post this. :-)

Thank you. Kind of you to say so.

And my Pelican case is one of the best investments I've made! This past weekend at a wedding, I used it as a seat and a step stool.
