Canon 50 L Focus

Hello-
I currently have the canon 50 1.8. I am looking to upgrade to the 50 1.2. I know there are focus issues, however, this is many photographers favorite lens. Can someone explain the focus issues to me so I can better understand what I am getting into.

Search for 50mm f/1.2 focus shift and I'm sure you will come up with a lot of information.

I had this lens when I owned my 5D and loved it. I got a good copy the first time around. It was awesome. Here are a few pics I took with it

Sure. First of all, the 50 / 1.2L is my favorite and most used lens on the 5D:

Secondly, it will backfocus if you use the center AF point with tight framing when stopped down:
