one of the very few clear, closer-in shots I've been able to get with my 35mm. I can't wait to get my new one with, at the very least, a macro mode so I can get better pictures of stuff like this...

Thanks, and no, it was daytime. It's funny you mention that because I have this photo hanging in my room, so I see it every day and I never noticed the black background behind the leaves until I submitted it on here today..lol. If I remember right, it was cloudy out though, so that might have given it that look
