Epson RX595 Should Print DVD's, What Am I Doing Wrong?

I hope someone can help me. I have an Epson RX595 that has a DVD printing adapter. I've read the on-line manual and followed directions but the printer keeps telling me it is not set up for DVD printing, even though I pushed the lever down and put in the adapter with disk on it. Is there a step I am missing? Anyone who has this printer and have an answer, I'd appreciate it.
