Nice photo. Keep posting more chicago pics as you explore the city.

Get a photo of the giant silver bean. I forget what it's called.

It's under cover at the moment. Hope they unwrap it soon. I think it's skyburst but the bean is what everyone I know calls it.

Thanks for the compliment and I'll try and find out what the 'giant silver bean' is...

Welcome to Town. Welcome to the Forum. "The Bean" is also known as Cloudgate and is located in Millennium Park. It should be ready in around a month. Nice shot. Do you live on the River?

Thanks for the compliment, Mills. Ok, I heard of and drove past Millenium Park before. And I live right by the East Bank Club, which is right by A river, but I don't know if its THE river you're talking about.

We are neighbors. My wife and I are five minutes from EBC and are Members (she reminds me always that I do not GO enough, guess she thinks I am out of shape). Welcome to River North.

I think Chicago is an absolute jewel.....especially for us Architects. Downtown is very much a museum of American architecture. Keep those great wide angle shots coming. In that city you never seem to be able to get wide enough. Have lots of fun.

Mills- I can't work out at the EBC unitl june since I had to cancell my membership last summer during the time i was here for my internship. But once june comes around, i'll definatly be there

froman98- much mahalo's for the compliment. none of my friends aren't really interested in the art of photgraphy, so i've just been takin shots at certain angles that only newbies know.

gmaize- I agree, chicago is a great city and I'm looking forward to getting out there with the S400 once the weather is stable to.

Much Mahalo's for all the compiments.....Aloha

Take your tripod and go down to Buckingham Fountain at night. They should be turning it back on for the summers.

Set your camera on Manual (no flash) and take variety of exposures. The water and the lighting make spectacular photos.

Looks like a Chamber of Commerce picture promoting Chicago. Very nice capture, clean, crisp, and with nice color.
