Wouldn't you know it I finally get to the point of saying OK I am going to buy it (and wife agrees), and now B&H is out of stock.

Anybody heard when the supply will be available? I want to get the body plus grip. I use grip on 40D and just don't think I could go without one now.

Pre-pay with them, your card won't be charged til the camera ships. You'll be in line for one from the next shipment. Putting your name on a contact-me-when-they-come-in list will mean you'll call after all those in the shipment have gone to pre-paid people.

Here, order it from CA. You'll have it sooner than ordering it from BH and shipping is less.

I called my local camera shop at 10 AM today to see how long their waiting list was. What list? Picked up my 5dII at noon:D. They have more in stock, but you have to live in the Portland, Oregon metro area.

Too much stuff, not enough shooting time.

I ordered mine 4 hours again from Best Buy. Then get home and get email from B&H that they have in stock. Guess I could have save the $151 in tax.

But I am taking advantage of the 18 months no interest vs. Bill Me Later at only 6 months

I squirreled out....and bought one at Best Buy a week ago yesterday and it was 2699.00.....then just happened to check back on saturday and they had them on sale for 2499.00....so I printed it out, went in to the store on sunday and they gave me $200 + tax back......so I was glad I bought it there so I could recoup the difference. Really looking forwad to using it this weekend!!
