I may be going out on a limb here, but I cannot decide what to do with this image. I see lots of potential, and it's one of my favorites from the shoot, but I'm simply stuck. Anyone that wants to try their hand at it is more than welcome to use it in a retouching portfolio...

Thanks!

I like the design, background, etc., but in comparing the renditions with the original posted image, did you intentionally remove the color from her legs and why were the legs made to be so white? Just curious.

my take...
I removed some moles, tatto on the foot, didn't like the right hand, so I straighted he hand/wrist, changed her hair color, put more red on her lips, shaped her bottom and breasts a bit, a few other small changes... I wanted to put her on a plane as "nose art" but my execution there was pretty weak IMO- I couldn't find a good plane picture to put her on! C&C?

Here's my little stab at it.. I'm not very good at this kind of editing though.

I like the patriotic theme. What changes did you make to the model? on mine, I removed some moles, tatto on the foot, didn't like the right hand, so I straighted he hand/wrist, changed her hair color, put more red on her lips, shaped her bottom and breasts a bit, a few other small changes... Thanks Brian. Didn't do too much in terms of changing the model. I thought the tattoo was a nice "modern" touch, but it definitely could go either way.

Did a warming filter to make her blend in better with the flag, and to make the flag a little more pink. Also, some curves adjustment to make her look more "powder white". I think a decent number of models from that time had that porcelain look.
