Apparently we're both fans of Silhouettes :]

The swing shot is by far and away my favorite. One of the better shots I've seen on these forums in recent memory. Lots of great compositional elements there. The chains form great leading lines and really draw your eyes to the child. The angle its shot at is perfect too, so that it looks less like she's swinging and almost like she's soaring right above the trees. That, combined with the awesome colors of the sunset, give it a surrealistic, dreamlike quality.

If that was my shot, I would definitely have it printed and framed!

It's been way too long since I shot these photos but thank you Plan9. It's been too long since I shot a silhouette period and I think you've inspired me to get my but in gear and try some more ..but with feeling this time, lol. I've got another shot of the swing during daylight too.

Not a fan of the feathered frame or the text, honestly, but I do like the shot itself! I think what she's wearing really adds to the shot too. Its just...fits.

So, I was just thinking about the text in the latest image...were you going for an intentional play on words with the 'Getting High' thing? Because it could be construed in the wrong way, which doesn't really fit the subject matter!
