I found their new nest. Over the winter, their nest from last year was destroyed when the snag it was located in snapped. So they have moved ... across Ellis Cove. It's not going to be too easy to shoot the babes when they fledge. The base of the nest is easy to get to, but with the canopy as it is in relation to the trails, well, there are two holes to shoot through for a decent image. Anyway, here's a shot from today when I scouted the new nest. Next time I'll have the 1.5tc on my 100-400 to get better images.
