Does anybody know what's the general google search term for the photographers who take pictures of people in their fancy bikes/cars on curvy roads and post them online for sale? I've seen the websites before of certain windy roads in the U.S. where auto enthusiasts can have their pictures taken by photographers as they drive by on curvy roads and then purchase prints online of themselves in their cars or on their motorcycles. Unfortunately that was long ago and forgot the websites name. I'm sure there's various roads covered on weekends by photographers. I'm just looking for the general search term so i can find a website or listing of roads that have these events.

I have a friend who is interested in getting prints of himself on his motorcycle on a curvy road, I've told him that I have seen websites like this in the past but I just don't know what to type into google to find more info on roads that have photographers taking pictures of passerby's. I've searched the eight pages of threads for transportation but haven't found anything. I haven't used the search tool since I'm not sure what to type. Any help will gladly be appreciated.

I don't know if there's a listing, but there are a half-dozen photogs who spend time hanging out on The Dragon. Is that the road you are speaking of?

If so, the most common photogs there are Zeefoto and Killboy.

If you told us where you live, someone might be inclined to help. But here's an idea: find a road with curves & take the pics yourself? ;)

seriously, there is no need to pay someone when you have a car and friends to help you achieve what you want. I do this stuff all the time, rolling shots are fun, but I would never pay someone when I know I can do it myself.

If you still want to search, look for automotive feature photographers. These are the people that shoot for magazines and rolling shots are their stock in trade. In a past life, I've worked with some of the best and some of the worst. As others have suggested, you can likely do it yourself, particularly if you have a friend with a convertible.
